Real Intelligence

Again, very prominent question “What is real Intelligence?” Very interestingly, people answer this question. Some says it is all about mugging up syllabus books, the more you mug up the more you are intelligent. Some says that real intelligence is nothing but earning more money. Some may say real intelligence is how efficiently you make others fool.

This is obvious, because no where it is taught that what is real intelligence. Actually, this is the fault of our education systems. It teaches us how to make good money. Earlier, our Indian education system was very good rather we should say it was perfect. There was great focus on development of personality, moral values, and spiritual knowledge. This education system has spoiled our foundation. Now we are creating more clerks, engineer, and manager with our advance technical education. Our education focus on how to be money minded. Just think, is it not funny to serve too hard just to satisfy our greed, our senses and never ending wishes. 

The real intelligence is knowing ourselves, our body and soul, our consciousness, Supreme lord, our relationship with him. These all are the basis of life. We all are serving others in some or the other ways. Whether, you are a worker or manager, engineer of businessman, actor or politician, writer or dancer, you have to serve someone. This is the rule of this immortal world. This is our actual condition. We all are servant. This we have to accept. Now just think, why no one is happy? We ourselves choose our area of work. Still, we are not happy. The reason is, we are not service our actual owner i.e. Lord Krishna. To know him and serve him is real happiness. And that is the real intelligence.

KRISHNA CONSCIOUSNESS: A NEW REVOLUTION - A NEW LIFE

Often we think of getting into new revolution. To some people, daily morning, when they get up, they say to themselves that from today or tomorrow they will change their lifestyle.   No one is happy with their routine life. They all want some change. Why it is so? It is because; we usually fed up with materialistic things, belonging, work, job and life routine. This is the normal state of materialism. It gives us temporary happiness after which we feel bored with such things. Again we search for new things for our happiness and again it result in temporary happiness. This goes on continuously. At one point of life, everyone conclude that nothing is permanent. But generally it takes much of our time to come to such conclusion. It is always better to start searching early that what is permanent? and where is the true and never-ending happiness?  This is the thing we have to understand with deep heart. This is the utmost important question of life. From our scriptures we come to that that first, our soul is permanent. Second, our soul’s state of sat-chit-anand (always happy and blissful) is permanent. And finally, our relationship with Supreme lord is permanent.

Some may find it superstitious. But this is the only truth. You do one experiment. You read a book daily same page, same sentences, and same paragraphs. Ready it for one day then next day and third day..forth day..and so on. Hardly after a week, you will through the book off as you will become bored with such stuff. You may extend your area of experiment to anything. You will experience the same. Now do the experiment with holy name of god. You chant or sing it for one day then next day..forth day..and so on. The more you will chant and sing, the more you will enjoy. You will feel happy from inside. This is the absolute nature of holy name. And this is Krishna Consciousness.

Krishna Consciousness teaches us how to implement our life in service of supreme lord. This is the utmost objective of our life. And very good thing is, it’s very simple to implement. The only qualification needed is the feeling of surrenderness in the lotus feet of supreme personality of godhead Lord Krishna. This is new revolution..Hare Krishna Movement and this is the start of new life.

Switch over of drug addiction to Supreme Addiction: A Krishna Conscious way to come out

A common problem among today’s youth is drug addiction. The spiritual country like India is also no far away from the reach of such problem. Indian youth, indeed, are in taking various kinds of alcoholic products which is resulting in degradation of moral values and infect their health. The consequences are increase in various kind of crime throughout the country. Many families are getting ruined as their son or daughters are in cruel hand of the demon of drugs.

With the increase of such problems, good to hear, many individuals and organizations have come up with lot of de-addiction centers where they uses their own developed strategies over addicted people to de-addict them from such dangerous things. Few of them are claiming that they are very much successful in their venture.

To find a religious way to come out, we have to understand the reasons which leads a person to use or abuse drugs. The primary reason you may find is the association of friends which motivates an innocent man to drink of intake the drugs. Generally, it starts in one’s teen age when self consciousness is not fully developed. The other reasons are monetary problems, health problems, undue tension or pressure which one feels that it can be remedy time being using such drugs. Most of the people get addicted to such drugs because they want to enjoy the present moment/time.

Religiously speaking, the natural condition of live being (soul) is sat-chit-anand i.e. always happy and blissful. However, we are facing lot of problems in each moment of our life which is against of our soul’s original condition. To cope with, one find the ways to keep one’s happy and blissful. Unfortunately, they indulge in materialistic ways which give them temporary joy but result in long unhappiness. When we discuss with drug addicted people, they say that it gives them pleasure that is why they cannot leave it. Actually, they are unaware of their soul’s actual nature, the supreme lord, the relationship between them and god. Even, they think body and soul is indifferent. This lack of knowledge resists them to leave drug addiction.

Here it is suggested to switch over their addiction from drug to something else. What it could be? It could be something which is most happy and blissful. It is Lord Krishna with their consort Srimati Radharani. One has to read Bhagwad Gita & other Krishna conscious books. When someone is given knowledge of Krishna Consciousness with proper channel, he will definitely switch over his/her addiction to Krishna. Strange!! But one will start chanting and singing holy name. It is the permanent solution. It gives them actual knowledge to answers the questions like Who am I? Why I am here in this world? What is my relationship with Krishna? etc. Once these questions are answered, one will accept Krishna’s lotus feet shelter, the supreme addiction. That is real addiction and utmost goal of human life.

So let’s switch over our addiction to lotus feet of lord Krishna and Radharani...and become happy!!
